Sri Lanka vs India, 4th ODI : 3 changes in India Team

Where : R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

Team News :

Sri Lanka: Unavailability of players has further compounded Sri Lanka’s woes with Kapugedera being the latest to join the list, that includes Dinesh Chandimal (fractued thumb), Danushka Gunathilaka (shoulder strain), Upul Tharanga (suspension due to slow over-rate), apart from Kusal Perera and Asela Gunaratne whose injuries had already ruled them out of the series. While a call is yet to be taken on Gunathilaka’s fitness, Dilshan Munaweera and Dhananjaya de Silva have been included in the squad for the fourth ODI and one of them could feature in the eleven.

Probable XI : Dilshan Munaweera, Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Kusal Mendis, Lahiru Thirimanne, Angelo Mathews, Milinda Siriwardana, Wanidu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Akila Dananjaya, Vishwa Fernando, Lasith Malinga (c)

India: Manish Pandey has been batting well in the nets and could get an opportunity in this game in place of Jadhav, although that would mean that Hardik Pandya would have to bowl the full quota of 10 overs. Shardul Thakur, who addressed the press on the eve of the match, could feature in his maiden ODI while Bhuvneshwar could be rested. Kuldeep Yadav is also likely to play and it remains to be seen if it’s a swap between left-arm spinners or wrist spinners.

Probable XI : Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasaprit Bumrah.
