Movies: Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise has set a new benchmark at the worldwide box office. Baahubali record collections refuses to be beaten by other films. And filmgoers and trade analysts can’t wait to see which film will beat the collections. It’s worth mentioning here that although Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai went on to break all records of the actor’s previous movies, it failed to shatter the one set by Hindi Baahubali 2 at the box office.
Now, a few big-ticket films are lined up to hit the big screens in March and April. Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam, Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya are gearing up for release around summer time to cash in on the holiday season. While Jr.NTR’s untitled film and Prabhas’ Saaho are likely to release early next year.
Cherry’s Rangasthalam teasers have registered well with audiences. They are eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of Cherry and Samantha in new avatars with a rural backdrop. Btw, you must see the first look of both charan and Sam in the movie, mindblowing.
Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu is one of the most awaited films of 2018. Recently, the audio teaser of the film has piqued the interest of his fans. The Dookudu actor will be seen playing a chief minister in the film for the first time which will be an eye feast to his fans who are disappointed with the Spyder debacle.
On the other side, Jr.NTR’s untitled flick which is set to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas is set to go on floors by the end of this month. But we have our own doubts about the NTR movie given that the film as PK creative words recently release the first look from a Nithiin movie. Does it mean, the NTR film is on hold?
Meanwhile Prabhas’ Saaho is likely to release early next year around Sankranthi. Now, the biggest question keeping cine buffs busy is which star will break Baahubali record? Only time can tell the answers.
